Who we are

This website is operated by Minick LLC, a creative agency based in Plantation, Florida. We build custom websites, run digital marketing, and develop brand strategy for businesses. Our website address is https://minick.studio.

You can reach us at contact@minick.studio with any questions about this policy.

What information we collect

Contact form submissions. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), project description, project type, budget range, timeline, and how you found us. We also record your IP address for security and spam prevention. This data is stored directly in our database.

Newsletter subscriptions. If you subscribe to our newsletter via the blog, we collect your email address. This is passed to Beehiiv, our newsletter platform, which manages delivery and unsubscribes.

Partner program applications. If you apply to our affiliate partner program, we collect your first and last name, email address, a description of your audience, your promotion plan, and any relevant social media or website links. We also record your IP address for security purposes.

Website audit tool. If you use our free website audit tool, we collect the URL you submit, your name, your email address, your IP address, your browser user agent, and the scores generated by the audit. This information is used to follow up about your results and to improve the tool.

Client accounts. If you become a client and access our client portal, we collect and store your name, email address, hashed password, phone number (optional), billing address (optional), profile information you provide (title, bio, avatar, social profile links), project details, messages exchanged with our team, invoices and payment records, and any files you upload to share with us.

Minick Widgets accounts. If you create a Minick Widgets account, we collect your name, email address, hashed password, which website platform you use, your widget settings, and subscription and billing records. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and verified email address from Google; we never see your Google password. You can delete your account and all of this data yourself, instantly, from your dashboard.

Information collected by widgets on customers' websites. Some widgets our customers install on their own websites collect information from that website's visitors, for example a name, email address, and ZIP code submitted through a lead form. We store those submissions on behalf of the website owner, who is responsible for that data and is the one your inquiry is delivered to. We also count widget views in aggregate and process visitor IP addresses transiently for security and rate limiting; we do not build profiles of website visitors, and we do not sell or share this information. If you submitted information through a widget on someone's website and want it removed, contact that website's owner, or email us and we will help.

Automatically collected technical data. Our infrastructure (Cloudflare) processes your IP address and related technical data as part of normal website operation. IP addresses are also recorded in our audit log when authenticated users take significant actions on the platform.

Analytics and performance data. As part of the SEO and marketing services we provide, we collect and retain performance metrics about the websites and social media channels we manage, such as search rankings, search impressions and clicks, page speed scores, and social post statistics (views, likes, comments, shares). This is operational and statistical data about online performance, not data about individual visitors, and we keep it long-term so we can measure trends over time and improve results.

Operational records. We retain internal records and logs of how submissions and requests are processed and prioritized on our platform, including the inputs and outputs of the automated steps we use to triage and analyze them. We keep these as our own operational data so we can review, audit, and improve how the platform works over time. We do not use this data to build profiles of individuals or for advertising.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human review.

Third-party services we use

Our platform uses the following third-party services that may process your data:

No other third-party services are active on this website at this time.

Where a Minick widget is embedded on a customer's website, the visitor's browser requests the widget from our Cloudflare infrastructure, which processes technical data (such as IP address) to deliver it, exactly as with any website resource.

Cookies and sessions

This website uses one first-party session cookie: minick_session. This cookie is set only when you log in to a protected area of our platform (the client portal, partner portal, widgets dashboard, or admin area). It stores a session token used to keep you authenticated. It expires after 24 hours and is deleted when you log out. It contains no personally identifiable information.

If you use Sign in with Google, a short-lived first-party cookie (minick_gstate) protects the sign-in handshake against forgery. It expires within ten minutes and contains only a random value.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or behavioral analytics cookies. We do not run Google Analytics or any third-party analytics platform on the public-facing website.

Third-party services (Cloudflare, Google Fonts) may set technical cookies necessary for their operation. These are not used to track your behavior across other websites.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored in Cloudflare's infrastructure (D1 database, KV, and R2 file storage), which operates across Cloudflare's global network. Passwords are hashed before storage and are never stored in plain text. Access to our platform requires authentication, and all significant actions are logged in a secure audit trail.

Files you upload through the client portal are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage and are accessible only to you and our team.

While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at contact@minick.studio.

Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained in our database for as long as necessary to manage your inquiry or maintain our relationship. If you would like your contact data deleted, email us and we will remove it promptly.

Client account data is retained for the duration of our working relationship and for a reasonable period afterward for billing and legal purposes. You may request deletion at any time.

Newsletter subscriber data is retained by Beehiiv until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribing removes you from all future sends.

Audit tool submissions are retained in our database. If you submitted your email, you may request deletion by contacting us.

Minick Widgets account data, widget settings, and stored lead submissions are retained while your account exists. Deleting your account from your dashboard erases all of it immediately and permanently, and cancels billing at the same time.

Security logs and rate-limiting records (IP-based) are retained for a short period (typically hours to days) and then automatically expire.

Analytics and performance data (search rankings, traffic statistics, social post metrics) and our internal operational records are retained long-term, because their value is in showing change over time. This data is statistical and operational in nature. Where it relates to a client engagement, you may request its handling or deletion as described under "Your rights" below.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data. These include the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@minick.studio. We will respond within 30 days.

Minick Widgets customers do not need to email us for deletion: your dashboard includes a delete-account control that erases your account and data immediately, no request required.

Children's privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active clients directly.
